Procédures de Confinement Spéciales : Toute observation enregistrée d'une instance de SCP-393-PL doit être documentée, et les conséquences de sa manifestation doivent être ramenées au minimum. Si le phénomène a lieu dans un grand groupe humain, il est nécessaire d'administrer des amnésiques et de retirer la peinture affectée.

Description : SCP-393-PL est un phénomène affectant certaines peintures, faisant sentir à l'observateur que la Lune, le satellite naturel de la Terre représenté sur la peinture, semble ne pas être à sa place dans l'œuvre d'art. De plus, les individus affectés ont développé des sentiments de nostalgie et d'anxiété en raison de la présence de la Lune sur les peinture.

Une analyse comparative des enregistrements des peintures affectées par SCP-393-PL ont montré les similitudes suivantes :

• Toutes les peintures ont été créées par Homo sapiens ;
• Toutes les peintures ont commencé à montrer des signes de l'influence de SCP-393-PL après le 12 octobre 2078 ;
• Toutes les peintures ont donné aux observateurs des connaissances sur la Zone Lunaire-32.

Bien que le Protocole Voile ait désormais été levé il y a bien longtemps, SCP-393-PL représente une menace pour le secret autour de l'existence d'une installation de la Fondation sur la Lune auprès d'individus non autorisés, c'est pourquoi il a été classifié en tant qu'objet conspirationnel.

Addendum 393-PL/01 : Découverte

La première manifestation de SCP-393-PL a été documentée le 12 octobre 2078 du calendrier terrestre à la Galerie du Mémorial d'Art de la Terre dans l'une des colonies sur Vénus. La peinture affectée était "La Nuit Étoilée" de Vincent van Gogh, qui a rapidement été retirée de l'exposition.

Il a été noté que ce phénomène a eu lieu plusieurs minutes après un raid sur le siège de la secte de la Lune Montante, qui avait réalisé avec succès un rituel inconnu. La capture d'un des adeptes vivants a également échoué, puisqu'ils se suicidaient par balle à chaque tentative de les arrêter. Il est supposé que la secte est responsable de l'apparition de SCP-393-PL, bien que la raison et le but pour lesquels il a été créé soient inconnus.

Incident 393-PL/01 : Souvenirs du personnel de la Zone Lunaire-32

Le 31 octobre 2078, durant une attaque d'un antimème hostile sur la Zone Lunaire-32, un protocole de protection a été initié, incluant l'usage de mnésiques. Après que la substance a commencé à faire effet, tous les membres du personnel ont rapporté une impression de désorientation par rapport à leur emplacement, ainsi qu'une perte totale de mémoire.

L'enquête a révélé que le Détecteur de Scénario de Classe-CK (DSC) de l'Installation n'avait pas repéré de quelconque changement récent de la réalité, bien qu'il fonctionnait correctement. L'administration de l'Installation a fait une demande pour vérifier les mesures du DSC sur Mars, mais les résultats étaient les mêmes que sur la Lune.

Puisque la cause de ce phénomène reste incertaine, un test a été réalisé par le personnel de la Station Martienne d'Observation-448, qui, après l'administration de mnésiques, a déclaré "ne pas identifier l'objet orbitant la Terre".
